Hotel “Znannya” for 65 people, occupies 3 ground floors of a 13-storey building in a silent, green part of an old district Pankivshchina just in the center of Kiev (the capital of Ukraine) on the crossing of 31 Mikilsko-Botanichna and Lva Tolstogo. Opposite the hotel there is the botanical garden named by academician Fomin. There you can find rare types magnolia and the biggest greenhouse in Europe. If we move further we’ll find ourselves in the picturesque Schevchenko Boulevard opposite to the Vladymir cathedral.

Within 15-20 minutes walk from the hotel:
To the south - The Central railway station.
To the west - The Victory Sqare, The national Circus and the famous “Ukraina” schopping center.
To the east – The national Opera House, National Univercity and a renewed old park with a monument to Taras Schevchenko. If you get interested, you will soon find the beautiful Sophija and Mihajlivska squares, with their world-known architecturial, historical monuments.

For example: The Sophia Cathedral XII cent, monuments to Bohdan Hmelnizkiy and Princess Olga. You can ride the funicular from the Michajlivska Square to the Post square wich is situated on the bank of Dneeper River near the ferry station.
And at last, the main street of Kiev – Kreshchatik.
All this within a 15-20 min. walk from the hotel!

The Hotel “Znannya” started its work in 1975. Famous lecturers, scientists, professors, sportsmen and actors stayed there. Nowadays it also welcomes business people from all over Ukraine and from abroad. It still has some features of the Soviet period, but it is being renewed. Of course there are things that will always remain, they are: Ukrainian hospitality, frankness, permanent attention to every guest!
